Kelsey is a great example of a senior who felt nervous getting her senior portraits taken. You'd never know it by looking at her images. She looks amazing!
But let's be honest for a minute, not everyone is comfortable in front of the camera and that's ok. So, what if you fall into that category?
Well, the first thing I do, for every senior portrait session is meet with the senior and their parent(s).
Meeting together ahead of time gives us a chance to get to know each other a bit, plan out the session,
talk about clothing and locations, discuss final products, etc.
This also gives opportunity for the senior (or parent) to voice any concerns they may have. If you're not comfortable in front of the camera, no problem - we'll start off slow in the session and I'll show you a couple of your images, in camera, so you can see how amazing you look. It usually takes 15 minutes or so for most seniors to find their comfort zone when getting their portraits taken. After that, it's just fun!
Senior portraits should be a time of confidence boosting and empowerment.
So if you're nervous in front of the camera, for whatever reason, just let me know and we can find a solution to whatever your concerns you might have!
I want your Colorado Springs high school senior portrait session to be one you absolutely love!
